Magic or In Search For Colour

there was I , sipping a lovely "Lost Passion" cocktail, in a Portuguese Bar in Chelsea, talking to Mexican Barkeepers about the Mexican actor Diego Luna who I just felt was in London.
Well, I assumed since the film festival was about to start that he and his buddy would not miss the chance. It turns out that not only the film festival was beginning shortly but also that the British Film Institute (bfi) was doing a special on Mexican Cinema. Perfect!
After my search for colour I figured it would't hurt just to quickly stop by the Bfi and check if I could get some tickets for the mexican film festival. I signed up and got about 7 tickets to see various screenings. But the one I really wanted, the Interview about Mexican Cinema with Gael Garçia and Diego was already sold out.
So I got a caramel café sat down in the cafeteria and was looking at the film festival program. While I was sitting down my eye caught this very excited, blond English girl standing in front of a guy sitting on the table next to me. She leaves with a happy smile and I look over my left shoulder. Diego! With an interesting looking girl and another Mexican friend.
While I was trying hard trying to read the film festival program, I could't help but to ear drop into their conversation.....it was a conversation in English with both of them him & her speaking with a thick accent. It was a dull, day-to-day conversation about relationships and "so what are you up to tonight".
The magic was gone.
I thought for a moment I should go and talk to them, but then I wasn't 100% sure it was him- and it would have been really embarassing if it turns out he was just a passionate mexican guy who likes movies- so I didn't.
Strange things happen on a so normal seeming Saturday.
I still have a week of mexican cinema to go and who knows I might bump into him again and this time might say something. It would be helpful since I am writing a piece on Mexican Cinema. But hey who knows....
I just have to make sure he doesn't assume I am another fan who wants to flirt. I actually would like to ask him some questions and know his opinion on a couple of things.
