A Horizon full of Ferris Wheels
A beautiful, stunning horizon full of ferris wheels. Telling stories from all over the world. Stories of love, despair, hate, fun, conflicts, depression, passion and adventure. Trying to get to the horizon is taking some time it seems an endless walk, whereby the eyes only capture the image of the wheels. The feet feel the heet below, the stones that cut through the shoes, the steep landscape and the wind that hasn't chosen yet, in which direction he wants to blow. Yet the focus keeps to highten its density, keeps pointing its destiny and hurting the "I".
Finally arriving at one wheel I cannot seem to find its entrance. There, one door is open. Entering, leaning against the thin door, waiting for it to move.
How high will it take me? What views will I get? How far will I see?
Fearing the disappointment, I wonder if I should exit already, or go with the flow.
It moves, an amazing light, a beautiful view, a warm wind. I feel the happiness returning to my "I", knocking at my soul. The sun sets, it is dark and it is getting cold. I need to keep moving in order to keep myself warm. Sun rise brings new hope, new strenght, new adventurous views. Realzing that ones at the top the view can only get worse...I wonder if I should jump?
At the top...time stands still. Thoughts turn to chocolate. Wishes to waves.
The wheel moves, it is time to go down. Same views carry no surprises, how much I had hoped to make time stop and to enjoy these beautiful moments at the top. Slowly going down, my sanity returns, telling me it was just a dream. Views are dependent not only on the scenery, but also on the wheather and the light. We can't control the moments of beautiful views. Realizing that the scenery can be so disappointing when you'd hoped to be proven wrong. Hoped you'd be surprised by the endless moments who seemed so pure, so pretty so pitoresque. When reality returns and screams at you "Wake Up!" those moments only exist during your ferris wheel rides, they''ll always change and once you reach the top, you'll soon reach the bottom.
What beautiful, stunning horizon full of fake ferris wheels.
